IHOP Swiss Mocha

Today's coffee is Swiss Mocha from IHOP...and wow was it good!

I want to go back for more it was so good! I don't remember the last time I was in an IHOP, it kind of reminded me of Bob Evans and a coffee they used to carry (it was coffee mixed with hot chocolate).

They also have free wi-fi so you can sit on your lap top and chill with some good coffee : )

Eclipse Cafe - Caramel Macchiato

Today's coffee is a Caramel Macchiato.
Eclipse Cafe is a very nice cafe, plenty of seating (even a couch) along with a few TVs placed around the seating areas. Once you purchase a coffee or even something from their wide variety of smoothies, salads and sandwiches you receive access to their Wi-Fi for free.

My Caramel Macchiato definitely had alot of caramel in it! I ordered a small and I was glad that I did - at the end there was so much caramel that I wasn't able to completely finish it (yes that's rare for me). I did enjoy it, though I feel like a little less caramel would been perfect.

You can see a more descriptive menu on the Eclipse Cafe website.

Macchiato Coffee by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Today's coffee is a Macchiato with 3 shots espresso.

I asked specifically for 3 shots in my Macchiato. Usually they make them with just 2 shots. I also really think it matters who makes the coffee and if they know what they are doing because I think it tasted somewhat watery.

So this coffee wasn't the best I've had from there, maybe they were just having an off day.

English Toffee

Today's coffee came from a gas station...but it was still really good : ) I honestly love the little machines of already made coffees. I usually get Mocha but instead today I tried a English Toffee Cappuccino.

Tasted more creamy then I expected but it wasn't salty tasting and that's a plus. Sometimes I find that gas station coffee is somewhat tasty when it comes to their cappuccinos. I loved WaWa coffee and I always hold all gas station coffees to their coffee. This fell short taste wise when comparing the two.

Casa De Luna Coffee House

Today's coffee is Hazelnut Heaven from Casa De Luna Coffee House located in Bellflower, CA.

At first I tried to go in on a Sunday afternoon however they are not open on Sundays (which I can completely understand). So I went back the next day to try out some of their coffee. I read on yelp.com that people were giving them good reviews - and I can see why. The guy behind the counter was very helpful with helping me pick out just the right drink (I wanted something hot and sweet tasting). He really seemed to know he was talking about too which was nice.

Casa De Luna Coffee House has a cool design as well, come in from the front or the back that leads to a patio and a park. They also have plenty of seating along with an array of different books to read while sipping on some coffee.

And of course I absolutely love the heart design that was swirled into my latte! First time I have ever ordered coffee from a coffee house and got a design.

Mocha Latte from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

I was In the mood for some hot chocolate but yet I needed some caffeine for a little afternoon pick me up.

So after asking what was the closest thing I could get that would taste like hot chocolate yet have coffee they suggested their Mocha Latte. They said it was made with steamed milk, mocha and coffee. Honestly though, it did not resemble hot chocolate as much as I would of liked and at first I found it to be pretty bitter. After a few sips it started to taste sweeter...I think it may be because I'm not a big fan of steamed milk.

So was it my hot chocolate substitute? No, but it did satisfy my craving for caffeine and of course I love that they have free Wi-Fi at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf so you can sit back and relax on your lap top while sipping on their coffee.

3rd Street Coffee

Tonight I tried a White Chocolate Mocha from 3rd Street Coffee. Normally I'm not a white chocolate fan...but I was in the mood for something different. I was surprised by how it tasted and actually liked it. The coffee lid even came with a little flower sticker. The place was pretty roomy along with having quite a few tables.

They also had smoothies on the menu along with having a lot of cookies and cheese cake to have along with your coffee.

I would definitely recommend trying out their coffee!
